The culturs in our school

We are students of the Sint-Jozefinstitute in Ostend, Belgium. We want to present you how our school is. So you can see the difference with your school. We have interviewed some students and asked for their opinions. We have also a multicultural school, we have students from all over the world. All in one we have students from more than 10 nationalities in our school.

This are some of the students of our class. We are with 15 students. All together, all ONE!

Merhaba, my name is Bedran. I’m a student of the SJO. My nationality is Turkey. I am already 4 years a student in SJO and I like it here. We have chill teachers and I’ve got many good friends here. And also great times in the class!

Hello, my name is Sophie. I’m African but I am born in Antwerp, Belgium. I’m proud of it that I’m a African but also that I’m a Belgian. I consider myself lucky that I’m a student of SJO because I am treated as any other student. Here it isn’t a big deal being ‘black’. Everybody is the same!

Hoi, my name is Kristina. I’m a student in SJO for 5 years now and I like this school very much. We have a clean school, great teachers and good students. I have a lot of friends. Not only Belgians but also many from other countries. We don’t have clubs but we are all one-club! I like that, everybody is friends with everybody

Barev, my name is Ripsime. I am a student in SJO for 2 years now. I came from a school full of Belgians to a school that has a mixed nationalities. I taught it would be hard to make new friends and get used to too the new teachers, but I felt home since the first day I’ve been here. I like this school and everyone in it. I consider myself quite lucky for being a student in SJO.
